Coffee Over Cardio: Messy Bun Butter Coffee Recipe

Ah… I remember those days of getting a yummy cinnamon bun and having it with a delicious cup of coffee but now, I’m cutting back on these delicious treats but that doesn’t mean that I can’t have it for dessert every single day.

You may be thinking that I’m losing it or something because I’m talking about cinnamon buns as a daily treat but no I’m not joking with you. Cardio Over Cardio created Messy Bun which tastes just as yummy as the pastry treat. Instead of having an actual cinnamon bun with a cup of coffee, I can enjoy a yummy cup of coffee with all the sugary flavors.

I don’t count calories but if you do, you should know that Messy Bun has zilch. You should also know that it’s a Keto-Friendly cup of quality coffee without any added sugar, gluten, and carbs but with all the yummy cinnamon flavorful taste to give you that warm comfortable feeling in the morning.

Just like before, I’m using Coffee Over Cardio as the main ingredient of my morning brew butter coffee because it’s naturally sweet and it’s a quality coffee that I feel is perfect for this recipe. Are you ready for a treat?

Messy Bun Butter Coffee Recipe


1 tbsp of Fourth & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee (but use the grass-fed butter of your choice)

1 tsp of MCT oil

1 tsp of Coconut Oil

1 serving of a freshly brewed Coffee Over Cardio Messy Bun

Optional: Add ½ tsp of Turmeric Powder

Optional: Add ½ tsp of Maca Powder

Optional: Add ½ tsp of Cacao (if you want a mocha)

Optional: Add a dash of cinnamon


Add all ingredients into a blender and blend it up for a few seconds until smooth. You don’t have to add creamer or anything because the butter makes it creamy and smooth. Let me know in the comments if you adore Coffee Over Cardio too. If so, which one is your favorite flavor?
