How to Make Homemade Rosewater Face Toner + Hair Mist

A while ago, I was so disappointed with a coconut water face mist that I had brought because although it was a popular product, it was ultimately unhealthy for my skin. All the chemicals they used made my pores look bad which forced me to discontinue using it. Fortunately, my mom told me to clean out the bottle and use it for something else which was a great idea because I came across a rosewater recipe online that was perfect for my empty spray bottle…
All you need to do is add organic roses into a cooking pot with some distilled water within it. Bring all the ingredients to a boil (or simmer) until the rose petals lose its color. You can use a strainer to separate the petals from the rose water but allow the ingredients to cool down before you pour the rose water into its container.

Using rosewater as a face + hair mist will not only make you smell lovely but it has amazing benefits that come with these simple ingredients. For skincare, rosewater makes a great anti-aging treatment because it naturally can give your skin a boost of hydration which can rejuvenate your skin cell. It can also remove dirt from clogged pores as a cleanser and it works as an aid for acne.
When it comes to damaged hair, rosewater can improve healthy hair growth and prevent dandruff. You can also use rosewater as a natural moisturizer; I personally only tried rosewater as a skincare treatment but I wouldn’t mind using for my hair now because it makes perfect sense. I love to spray my hair with regular H2O and sometimes I like to add apple cider vinegar into the mix but maybe rosewater can do the trick for me.
How do you use a rosewater face + hair mist and which do you prefer: homemade or is there a company that you would love to share that makes this product? Let me know in the comments below and please understand that I am not a beauty expert, so please do further research on rosewater to see if it’s correct for you.

Love always,
