5 Ways to Relax After a Long Day for Foot Care

After a long day at work where I am constantly on my feet, there‘s nothing better than relaxing with a foot care treatment. My feet always feel 10x better whenever I do this treatment at least once a week (I mean, it’s like work shoes was created just to hurt your feet. Can anyone relate?) I’m still on the search for good foot care products, so if you have a list of them, feel free to share.

Start your bubbly foot bath. You can use whatever bubble bath you desire but recently, I’ve been loving my Pass the Bubbly Champagne Bubble Bath By Avon. It has a yummy raspberry fragrance that calms me right away and it makes you want to celebrate because it looks like a champagne bottle. I’m loving the fact that it’s like a treat at end of the day.

Add a few drops of tea tree oil to your foot bath. Because we walk a lot, our feet may pick up some unwanted bacteria that can cause some harm. This could be prevented of course just by taking a shower every single day but if you want to kick things up a notch, you can add three drops of magic.

Be aware that tee tree oil isn’t for everyone, so please do some research on it before you use it. Also, note that it’s very strong in scent so brace yourself.

Use a foot scrub. Because your feet have been soaking under warm water, it softened dead skin so you can easily exfoliate while leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth.

Clip your toenails. You can easily clip your toenails because the bubble bath made them soft. It’s the perfect time to do this self-care treatment.

Moisturize your feet. Use whatever you desire but if I must recommend anything, I would recommend olive oil, coconut oil or body lotion. What I use depends on how I’m feeling that day but each has its own way of moisturizing your feet.

Use a foot mask. I don’t give myself a foot bubble bath when I use a foot mask because it’s everything in one to me. After I nice shower (or bubble bath,) I love to use this Relaxing Peppermint Foot Mask Socks ($9.00) by Iroha which smells so good and refreshing. All you have to do is put them on just like socks and if you’re like me, put real socks over them. This locks in the moisture even more while your feet are receiving all the love it could get.
